Keyboard animation and configurator
Client - Ultimate Hacking Keyboard
It’s a wonderful experience to witness a start-up company’s evolution almost from the beginning until the final product… We were lucky enough to be part of this with Ultimate Hacking Keyboard!
In 2015 UHK launched their crowdfunding campaign and it was a massive success! After 3 very busy years they requested to re-create the almost 5 years old very first trailer and match the digital model to the final product. The other part of the project was to make images for their webshop.

Challenging parts of the project:
- Working with a very dense CAD based mesh and in some cases fix topology
- The client had a very specific idea of the animation
- The whole animation takes only 2 constantly moving cameras and 2 scenes
- Managing the variations for the configurator
Possible options in the configurator:
- 5 house colors
- 5 Keyswitches colors
- 2 keyboard layouts (ANSI, ISO)
- 4 print options for different platforms (Blank, Win, Mac, Linux)
- 4 addons modules
