Phone case images
Client - Snakehive
We began our collaboration with the UK-based phone case manufacturer, Snakehive in 2019. The initial project was to create 4 phone cases with multiple camera angles.
They really liked the images we delivered, so we are in the middle of making 14 new cases in 2020 in multiple colors and angles. Because each phone and case has different proportions we have a lot of manual work in creating the initial meshes, but we managed to make a good workflow to produce the final renderings with only a few render sequences.
Challenging parts of this project:
- Creating all the different cases (especially the inner plastic case) for each phone with detailed stitches and holes
- Dealing with all the different colors and camera angles with semi-automated processes
- Managing and naming the huge number of frames
