These ultra high-resolution images were made for an art exhibition. We have experience in working woth everyday products, but to make them completely dirty was something new…
The client sent several photographs of everyday products and we had to create them in a very dirty and damaged way based only on these photos. Final delivery resolution was 20000×20000 pixel… yes, twenty-thousand pixels 🙂
It was crucial to pay attention to the geometry, the texture resolution and using maps, that are not so obvious when tiled. We mixed several procedural textures with regular texture maps to create a wide range of variety in specular, glossiness and bump
